On Wednesday, June 24, 2023, the Slovenian Business Club and also the Croatian Business Club played hosts towards the representatives from the Customs Administration from the Republic of Serbia with the support of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce as well as on that occasion, held a seminar titled “Current issues within the use of the new Customs Law” in the In Hotel.
The presidents from the Slovenian Business Club, Danijela Fisakov and also the Croatian Business Club, Marija Radulovi'c gave welcome speeches.
In their address, the representatives from the Customs Administration briefly presented the Administration itself, their organization, goals, mission and vision. Then they explained the changes which were made to the brand new Customs Law and gave an interpretation of the same. These changes related to the transit procedure, simplified customs procedures and other relevant issues.
Aleksandar Radovanovi'c, Head of the Centre for Regional Cooperation, also addressed the crowd on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and commended the economic cooperation from the Republic of Serbia with the Republic of Slovenia and also the Republic of Croatia.
The chambers’ members had many questions associated with the brand new Customs Law, along with the everyday problems they encounter in their work. These were given detailed answers and directions for further action.
