“In the period from January to April this season, industrial production in Serbia decreased by only 0.8 per cent, during Vojvodina, it increased by 7.5 percent at the same time. The total worth of Vojvodina’s external trade is 1.4 percent lower compared to the same period last year, “said Mr Pasztor.

In his address, the president of PKV, Bosko Vucurevi'c, asserted the conference was the first inside a number of online conferences organized by PKV following the pandemic and also the first combined conference opened at PKV’s premises. He also mentioned the unrealized activities from the PKV, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. “Previously three months, because of the new situation, the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina overlooked over 40 planned and agreed business delegations, B2B meetings, trade shows along with other events using the representatives of business institutions in over 15 regions and countries, where a total of over 1,000 businesses were designed to participate,” he said.

CEO of Color Press Group, Robert Coban, also addressed the conference: “The fact is that the road institutions in Vojvodina fully demonstrated the scope of the responsibility at the end of January and early February, which assists the fact that Vojvodina acted responsibly and conscientiously within the fight against the coronavirus. It's no coincidence there were no residents of nursing homes in Vojvodina that contracted the disease. Why am I saying all of this now? Because this way of methods everything functioned, the connections and also the cooperation between the Red Cross, us, like a private company, the City of Novi Sad and also the Provincial Government, turned out to be a great model for the entire society. I am certain that, within the times to come, i.e. throughout the recovery period, cooperation will prove to be a great example of how things should function, “said Mr Coban in the opening from the conference.
